Objectives:
Having completed the required courses in the English programme, a student should acquire the following skills:
1- To meet the needs of the community for qualified English speaking staff to work in different areas in the service of the country.
2- To enable students study English: its origin and disbursement and so efficiently and to use language correctly to convey ideas and information clearly and accurately with distinguished variety of methods.
3- To train students to acquire the necessary language skills in order to develop the linguistic taste to enable them to identify the differences between the texts, meanings and methods of expression and verbal in English and to open the field of science and scientific research in front of him.
4- To train on translation of English language in various areas of public and media, literary, scientific, cultural and religious contexts in order to take advantage of language and literature in line with Islamic teachings and Arab customs and traditions which serve the labor market in the Kingdom.
5- To train students on computer applications, which are the backbone of the modern era, in the areas of language and linguistics, literature and English/Arabic translation.
6- To establish a center attracts talents and activities to develop capacities and applied research in the field of translation in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
